Nov. 3, 2009 - PRLog -- SAVANNAH, Ga. – Accomplished attorney Diana J. P. McKenzie recently joined HunterMaclean as a partner and leader of the firm’s new Information Technology Practice Group.


One of the world’s leading information technology attorneys, McKenzie has a successful, established practice in the area of information technology and outsourcing. Before joining HunterMaclean, she was a partner at a major law firm in Chicago, where she founded and chaired the firm’s Information Technology Practice Group.  


A well-respected information technology attorney, she has represented clients in some of the largest technology transactions in the United States. McKenzie also provides strategic legal advice to a wide range of clients regarding significant technology, privacy and security and electronic commerce transactions.

Her articles have been published in the Stanford Journal of Law, Business & Finance, The Licensing Journal, Computerworld, National Law Journal and The Computer and Internet Lawyer.


McKenzie has been repeatedly selected as one of the top information technology lawyers in the United States by The Best Lawyers in America and as one of “America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in Technology and IT Outsourcing” by Chambers USA.


She currently serves on the advisory board for Intellectual Property Law Journal and on the editorial board for both Performance Improvement Advisor and Report on Healthcare Information Management.


McKenzie graduated, magna cum laude, from Kenyon College with a B.A. in 1981 and earned her M.B.A. and J.D. from Emory University in 1985. She is a member of the state bar in Georgia and Illinois and currently resides on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
