Oct. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Balance Interactive has redesigned the web presence for The Palmer Land Trust of southeastern Colorado.

Balance redeveloped Palmer’s website, http://www.palmerlandtrust.org/, using the Drupal content management system. The new site features an interactive map of the organization’s service territory. There is also a searchable library of conservation documents. The visual design of the website features photography of the stunning properties that Palmer protects.

In addition enhancing the website, Balance set up CiviCRM for Palmer staff to manage all contacts. The system tracks donors, members and information about protected public and private properties.

“Perhaps the only thing that surpasses Balance Interactive’s proficiency is its final product.  Palmer Land Trust’s new website is a sparkling gem,” said Josh Tenneson, Programs Director at Palmer Land Trust.  “With limited technological capabilities on hand, Palmer Land Trust can easily update and add content to its website.  The back-end database is also something to marvel at.  For the first time, Palmer’s staff is able to quickly segment out its various constituencies with a couple of simple queries, eliminating hours of administrative work. This functionality has long been sought after and is now at the tips of Palmer Land Trust’s fingers.”

The Palmer Land Trust is a public, non-profit land trust composed of individuals, families and businesses dedicated to the permanent protection of open space, agricultural, scenic and natural lands in southeastern Colorado.
