PRLog -- Demic & Bawsten has released the first volume of the Gotham Diaries series. The first installment being there first official mixtape. Since the group formed in 2008 there have been many fan made mixtapes but nothing official until this point. The mixtape will help to support the Gotham City, NJ theme that the group has been promoting since earlier in the year. The mixtape includes several sampled tracks that were not cleared for the official album. The mixtape also includes a freestyle on Kid Cudi's standout track Cudi Zone off his Man on the moon debut. Demic & Bawsten also borrowed a track from Taio Cruz's latest album Rokkstar titled "Take me back." The mixtape consists of a total of 16 tracks lending samples from the likes of Mariah Carey, No Doubt, Kanye West, T.I., Jay-z, James Blount, Biggie, Sting, and Leonna Lewis. The mixtapes title track was produced by Kareem Campbell of Tec Records. The track was inspired by the vision that Demic & Bawsten had for the Gotham City, NJ theme. The mixtape will be featured on several websites and blogs including: Dat Piff and Microphone Bully.
