Integration Consortium launches Integration Competency Center (ICC) Collaboration Group

Oct. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Minneapolis, MN.  — The Integration Consortium (IC) today announces the launch of a new collaboration group aimed at bringing Integration Competency Center (ICC) enthusiasts together. Group members have the ability to share documents, external links, events & discussions in efforts learn more about the value of implementing an ICC.

“Integration Competency Centers are not new”, says John Schmidt, Integration Consortium Chairman and co-author of the book "An Integration Competency Center - An Implementation Methodology". “However, the economy has dictated that end users need to realize more value from their IT investments. An ICC can reduce integration costs, time & effort while adding the agility businesses today require”.

The group will depend on its’ members to provide thought leadership in the form of online education, knowledge sharing and informal discussions. The Integration Consortium has initiated this effort by offering several free documents to group members, including the 144 page PDF version of Mr. Schmidt’s book, “An Integration Competency Center - An Implementation Methodology".

While membership to the new sub-group is complimentary, the Integration Consortium, a non-profit organization, is primarily funded by memberships in the categories of Individual, Corporate (technology providers), and End Users.
