This upgraded universal programmer, model VP380, features high programming speed, test vector capability, multi-array fuse map editor, device insertion and poor-pin-contact check. It includes a 48-pin ZIF socket and supports 8-pin to 48-pin DIP package devices. This optimized universal programmer automatically identifies the manufacturer and type of EPROMs and TTL/CMOS logic IC. In auto-run mode, it starts programming automatically upon detection of chip insertion. In addition, this universal programmer supports most compilers in JEDEC format including ABEL, CUPL, PALASM, TANGO PLD, or CAD PLD, PLD Designer and ISDATA.
