Brief on Chinese Filter Press Industry, 2009-2010

Oct. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- The filter press industry is the sub-industry of the separating machinery industry which belongs to the general machinery industry. The filter press industry started very late in China. Chinese filter press industry has began to develop since 2000. Currently the layout of Chinese filter press industry has formed with Jingjin, Hengshui Haijiang and Zhongda Bright as the first echelon, Xingyuan, Wuxi General Machinery and Zhejiang Jianhua as the second echelon, and other weak brands as the third echelon.

Since 2002, Chinese filter press industry has been growing with a growth rate of over 20%. In 2007 filter press replaced separator to be the leading product in the separating machinery industry. It is the main force for the growth of the separating machinery industry. In recent years, technology in the filter press industry has been improved, shortening the gap with Europe and America. However, market of Chinese filter press is small; technology is not so advanced as Europe and America. All the factors restrict the development of Chinese filter press industry.

The spreading of financial crisis in the second half of 2008 may further affect Chinese real economy. Nevertheless, Chinese filter press industry will remain stable increasing in the coming years because export of this industry is small and clients of partial  products are in the medicine or food industry, etc, which will not be greatly affected by the financial crisis.
