The CPS show will provide an entertaining day for spectators. In addition to judging, which takes place throughout the two-day show, spectators can see cats up close while they wait to compete and ask exhibitors any questions they may have. Exhibitors at this show also get into the “spirit” of things by dressing in Halloween costumes and decorating their cats’ cages in imaginative Halloween themes. Spectators are encouraged to participate in the voting for “best costume” and “best cage decoration” categories. There will also be a wide variety of vendors selling cat toys, grooming supplies, cat trees and furniture, jewelry, clothing, and collectibles. The cat show is open to the public Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lakefront Arena, 5310 Hauserman Road, Parma, OH. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and children age 5-11. Parking is free.
