American LegalNet Adds Ralph Barber as Advisor to Executive Team and Board of Directors

Oct. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA — Los Angeles-based American LegalNet, the premier provider of ‘Desktop to Courthouse’ workflow technologies that reduce risk and minimize cost, announced today that Ralph Barber, former chief technology officer at Holland & Knight, will be added as an advisor to the executive team and board of directors.  

In this role, Barber will work closely with the executive team to ensure their strategy is strong to maintain their position as a leader in the legal technology industry. He will help direct the company on initiatives such as risk management, IT infrastructure and other information system objectives to ensure the continued success and growth of the company.

Barber has extensive experience in the legal industry in technology roles. In addition to his 13 years at Holland & Knight as a chief technology officer, he has also held management technology roles at other law firms including Wiley, Rein & Fielding and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meager & Flom.  Barber was named one of the top 10 Global Tech Leaders by Citytech magazine and regularly speaks at conferences across the country.

Barber holds a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics from George Mason University in Virginia.
