The National Exhoodus Council (NEC) in collaboration with Save Our Seed (S.O.S.) will join the stage in an exchange of compelling dialogue in a quest to educate, transform, and foster social responsibility in our communities.

Sept. 27, 2009 - PRLog -- The National Exhoodus Council (NEC) in collaboration with Save Our Seed (S.O.S.) will join the stage in an exchange of compelling dialogue in a quest to educate, transform, and foster social responsibility in our communities. This historic rally will commence on Sunday, September 20th at the Atlantic City Boys & Girls Club 317 N. Pennsylvania Avenue from 2:00–5:00 pm, and then depart to Washington D.C. in an unprecedented Summit to be held on Capitol Hill.

The National Exhoodus Council (NEC) led by Malik Aziz, is a coalition of community based resettlement (reentry), anti-crime, and anti-violence organizations whose leadership and management are all previously incarcerated professionals.  The Council is coordinating a national campaign aimed at creating jobs and reducing urban violence as outlined in their national groundbreaking agenda.  An executive summary is available. NEC is in partnership with The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement (NOBLE).


WHO: NEC Council members and members of various community organizations will discuss issues and offer solutions to the ongoing violence facing communities across America.
