Follow on Google News | Lower Neighborhood Electricity Bills With Tremcor’s Customer Power PoolDALLAS, TX September 25th, 2009 - Considering current financial times Texas needs lower electric costs at the consumer level. Here is a way not many people know or realize is possible.
By: Jeff Vallerius Now what if you could join with all your neighbors and pool together so you have more buying power so you are all effectively buying in bulk. The cost per Kilowatt-hour will be much less. Right? You should be nodding your head in agreement now, as that is exactly correct. You are one person, one household just a one to the REP. So many ‘ones’ joined together make a power pool (excuse the pun) and so make it possible to get a better price for your electricity. The name the PUCT (Public Utilities Commission of Texas) gave to the companies they authorized to put these power pools together is an Aggregator. Anderson of Tremcor Energy says, “there are 129 actual aggregators but just one whose main thrust is residential.” Anderson said, “Now imagine that idea in Dallas. The more households joining makes more power for the pool and then rates get even lower.” Anderson states, “Tremcor Energy plans to get 50,000 new members in their power pool and that will really lower everybody’s electric bill for those who join in.” Checking the BBB (Better Business Bureau) http://www.bbb.org, it shows Tremcor an A rating. The PUCT site shows only 3 complaints this year. When Anderson was asked about this he said, “Check your current REP and see their report you might be shocked! TXU has 2225 PUC complaints since March 2009” Go to http://www.puc.state.tx.us “Tremcor is coming to your neighborhood. The campaign is called the Texas Citizens Power Pool,” said Anderson, “we will have 300 agents in the coming months so you can join in and get your lower electric bill each month.” He said. Many REP’s are getting their customers to pay a fee if they break their contract. Anderson announced “The saving Tremcor Energy can generally give is more over a year than the fee to get out.” He added, “Also at the same time fixing the rate at the new level will hold the price. Imagine if you could do that with buying gas for your car or truck.” When asked how he could help, Anderson said, “Tremcor’s power pool is here for everyone, we are on the customer’s side, as our prior results show, making lower electric bills and saving money for Dallas homeowners.” # # # Texas Deregulated Electric Aggregator - Primarily residential customers join a buying pool that gains lower prices from Retail Energy Providers. The saving is passed to the power pool member. More members better savings. Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area. End
