Healthy public school children in Quezon City with Strong and Bright Kids Feeding program

Sept. 14, 2009 - PRLog -- QUEZON CITY - Mayor Sonny Belmonte cuts the ceremonial bread to formally launch the “Strong and Bright” feeding program at the Dona Juana Elementary School.  The program will provide free nutritious merienda for more than 13,000 students initially in Area 7 of District 2, which is home of the poorest barangays in the City.  Breaking the Strong and Bright ceremonial bread are Julie’s Bakeshop franchisee Ms. Lucille Cuasay, Ms. Joy Belmonte, Public School Division Supervisor Dr. Victoria Fuentes; Mayor Sonny Belmonte, Dr. Rico Gandionco of Julie’s Bakeshop and Franchise Corporation and health and nutrition advocate, Ms. Cory Quirino.  The Strong and Bright Kids Feeding program is the premier feeding program of the Quezon City Government.
