                   What you need to know about kidney stones
 
Kidney stones are solid concretions (crystal aggregations) formed inside the kidney tissue. These stones do not lie in the urinary tube separately; they are tightly joined with soft kidney’s tissue. The stones grow from inside the kidney tissue towards the urinary tube. In later stages, the part of the stone which appears in the urinary tube starts to lose crystals (sand) or small pieces which move through the urethra causing the unforgettable pain.
