Sept. 11, 2009 - PRLog -- Bellevue, Wash. – T-Mobile has dropped its price on their new T-Mobile HTC myTouch 3G in an attempt to entice customers to purchase the new phone. The HTC myTouch 3G is the successor to their popular T-Mobile G1, the first US smartphone using Google's Android platform. The T-Mobile myTouch 3G offers similar features to the G1 including a large touchscreen, accelerometer, 3-megapixel camera and trackball, but no longer sports a slide-out keyboard.

T-Mobile's move to reduce the price of the myTouch comes to no surprise for many customers who already own the T-Mobile G1 and feel uncomfortable with the new onscreen keyboard.

"I've gotten pretty comfortable with the keyboard and am not ready to switch,” said one comment on T-Mobile's forum for the myTouch 3G.

The new, lower $99 price for the T-Mobile myTouch 3G is valid until September 24, upon the signing of a contract agreement and after entering a promotional code when purchasing the phone from the company's website. T-Mobile has already launched a variety of T-Mobile myTouch 3G accessories, including T-Mobile myTouch 3G cases, T-Mobile myTouch 3G Covers and a number of different ways customers can personalize their cell phone.

For More information, visit T-Mobile.com. The T-Mobile myTouch 3G can be purchased online from T-Mobile and don't forget to enter the code KICKOFF24 during checkout for the $99 price tag.
