Sept. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- International Systems Research Co. (ISR), Google Enterprise Partner based in Tokyo, Japan, announced today that the Cloud Gate Single Sign On (SSO) Service, currently adopted by more than 18 enterprises and 21,000 end-users, now provides a stronger level of security using Two-Factor Authentication based on One Time Passwords (OTP). The technology employs NTT Data’s Mobile Phone Edition of the RSA SecurID® Token.

This is the world’s first implementation of RSA SecurID® for Google Apps. The Cloud Gate SSO Two-Factor authentication is based on two factors “Something you have, and something you know”, thus providing a highly reliable and secure authentication method for accessing corporate information.

Advantages

Better Security: Using RSA SecurID® a one time-password (OTP) is created on the user's cellphone by RSA's software token.  The OTP changes every 60 seconds and thus prevents any possibility of spoofing attack or unlawful access.  The OTP thus provides an extra layer of security of protection for accessing Google Apps. This layer works on top of the Cloud Gate Single Sign On service which is used to access corporate Active Directory or Open LDAP server.

Convenience: NTT Data’s Mobile Phone Edition of the RSA SecurID® Token supports about 400 models from three carriers NTT DoCoMo, au, and Softbank. For enterprise administrators it is easy to deploy the service because there is no need to deliver physical hardware to the users.

Possibility to use a Hardware Token: Because it is possible to use a hardware token, the choice can be made depending on the user’s requirements and preferences.
