Eek! It’s Toby and Doby!

Sept. 9, 2009 - PRLog -- The first time 4-year-old Suzy notices Toby and Doby, they are in her basement, fighting over a piece of cheese. The two brother mice are frightened when they see Suzy, because they have always been told that humans will hurt mice.

But Suzy manages to coax them out of their hiding place and thus begins an unusual friendship. Of course, neither Suzy’s parents nor Toby’s and Doby’s parents want their children playing with each other. After all, they are so very different. You see, mouse parents are just like all parents; they want to keep their children safe and only want what is best for them.

These three youngsters decide to prove to their parents that when it comes to friendship, what you look like doesn’t really matter.

About the Author:
Susan Pennington-Hurtubise was born in Norwich, Connecticut, and always dreamed of becoming an author. She was inspired to write by her Aunt Olive, who originally invented Toby and Doby as characters in bedtime stories for Susan and her brothers.
