Fighting H1N1 efficiently: TeamTILT, Free two-way Alert Management Tool

Sept. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- The company M-PLIFY, expert in emergency communication, will soon launch TeamTILT, a new kind of universal messaging tool. Based on the technology developed for AlarmTILT, incident and alert management solution already used by thousands in over 15 countries, TeamTILT will allow individuals and communities to rapidly invite, remind, or simply inform co-workers, partners and friends via email, SMS text message or voice call. Answers and replies given by each will be displayed in real time.

PCs, laptops, mobile phones, smartphones, Iphones and Blackberries help the majority of us to stay in touch permanently. Emails, text messaging, or even online social sites like Facebook and Twitter are often used to dispatch interesting or vital information. However an efficient and rapid coordination of groups of people is often difficult, when concerned participants are not in the same communication network or do not use the same type of (mobile) devices. This problem is well known in the world of first responders, when fire brigades need to quickly communicate with police forces and/or medical assistance, that are using different emergency communication channels.

AlarmTILT uses all available means to recall, invite, organise, synchronise, warn and inform distributed groups of people, and manages in real time their replies and acknowledge actions.

AlarmTILT users are medium to large multi-site companies and organisations looking to save time and costs by optimising their internal and external emergency procedures, or hospitals controlling communication and medical staff call-outs in disaster situations. TeamTILT, the FREE version of AlarmTILT, will be available on 1st October 2009. Thanks to TeamTILT the coach of a local sports team can rapidly inform players of the last minute cancellation of a game, the organiser of an event can notify participants of the start of  a soon to start meeting, and school management can promptly warn teachers, students and parents when an incident affects them directly (f.ex. in case of H1N1 detection).

TeamTILT needs no software download. It is easy to use and immediately operational at account creation. Messaging and alert procedures can be launched via a web interface or from a telephone. TeamTILT handles the dispatching of emails, international SMS text messages and voice text-to-speech calls to PCs, mobile phones, landlines, PDA/Smartphones, Blackberries, Iphones and more. TeamTILT offers real time follow up of alert procedures by  tracking status of messages sent and received.
