Unique Service Concept Looking For External Service Providers!

The story behind this business model is actually one of a dream. Chrissi Sharkey founder had become fixated on a million pound house and how she could earn the funds to buy it. She felt she was constantly doing tasks and favours for other people and decided to turn this into a business idea to try and raise the money.

The ethos of the concept allows the user to propose the fee that they would be willing to pay for any given task and Sharkey has now created an external services page to help broaden the skills available to the end user.

She states “There’s recently been some task requests received in areas that I had no experience in and I needed to source external help in order to complete them. I have now decided to launch an external services page on my website to enlist other service providers that might be interested in providing their skills, to help assist the end users with their needs.”

The concept has currently made over £4000 in its first 7 weeks of trading and has also received a significant amount of press interest. Sharkey recently appeared on radio station JackFM in Oxfordshire, has completed several newspaper interviews and one of the tasks completed was even filmed by ITV and will be screened early next year.  

Sharkey adds “By advertising on the site I hope that service providers will not only benefit from visitors clicking directly through to their websites but I will also add them to my own database of contacts, to assist with any related tasks that I may receive!"
