FBC1501 is an MIL-STD-1553A/B bus controller

FBC1501 is an MIL-STD-1553A/B bus controller, supporting full MIL-SD-1553A/B bus protocol, and implements all the 3 MIL-STD-1553A/B devices(BC/RT/BM). The register operation of FBC1501 is compatible with BU6158X. A large size memory is integrated to store communication data. FBC1501 is designed with fault tolerant scheme, which could tolerant the faults induced by the environment.

Ⅱ.FEATURES
2.1. Support the following MIL-STD-1553A/B messages:
2.1.1. BC → RT
2.1.2. RT → BC
2.1.3. RT → RT
2.1.4. Broadcast
2.1.5. Mode code
2.2. Support all the 3 types of MIL-STD-1553A/B device: BC, RT and BM. The default is RT.
2.3. Designed with fault tolerant scheme, which could tolerant the faults induced by environment.
2.4. Bus controller(BC):
2.4.1. Supports auto-retry.
2.4.2. Configurable retry policy.
2.4.2.1. Configurable retry times.
2.4.2.2 Channel alternation configurable.
2.4.3. Message frame auto-repeat.
2.4.4. Programmable message gap and frame gap.
2.4.5. Programmable response timeout.
2.5. Remote Terminal(RT):
2.5.1. Configurable command illegalization table.
2.5.2. Multi memory manage method supported.
2.5.2.1. Single buffer.
2.5.2.2. Double buffer.
2.5.2.3. Circular buffer.
2.5.3. Interrupted could be generated with each mode command received
2.5.4. Supports “reset” mode command, could reset external device via “reset_host” pin.
2.5.5. Configurable busy bit lookup table.
2.6. Bus monitor(BM):
2.6.1. Bus word oriented monitor.
2.6.2. Programmable trigger word.
2.7. MISC:
2.7.1. Register operation is compatible with DDC BU6158X, 8K byte built-in memory.
2.7.2. Support both 8-bit and 16-bit host interface.
