| Track-Out Baseball Still Going Strong!!After Capital City Baseball graciously left The Factory Ballpark and North Wake County Baseball along with USSSA Baseball moved in and set up shop, Track-Out Baseball is still instructing baseball players with the desire to be better.
By: Track-Out Baseball Since its conception, Track-Out Baseball has grown and momentum has built. Head Coach and Director of Track-Out Baseball, Bobby Follmer said, " I receive calls almost daily as to inquire about our program. Not only that, but I am coaching several boys who want to be better baseball players, gratis." He went on to say, "I have one 14 year old who walks to the park and I work with him without payment because he is dedicated to becoming the best player he can possibly become. This is my main goal, making baseball players better". The director also said, "For the past couple of months, I have tried to put on a benefit for The “Jim “Catfish” Hunter Chapter of The ALS Association. It was called “24 Hours of Baseball Marathon”. This was to happen July 10th and 11th. The reason was to raise the awareness in the baseball players of the sense of community. I wanted them to learn to “give back”. They were to raise as much money as they could to donate the money to ALS. There are a number of lessons to be learned in this endeavor. The first lesson was to learn about “Lou Gehrig’s Disease” and know that they are quite fortunate to be healthy enough to play the game. Second was for them to take the initiative to find donations. Third was for them to encourage others to have a sense of community and give money to a worthy cause, and the list goes on. The timing ended up being wrong due to the age change on July 31st. I will try again in September with some fall teams." Track-Out Baseball Skills Traing Camps would like to grow. Coach Follmer would like to improve the level of baseball instruction in this area. He wants to see the kids succeed at this great game of baseball. He has a fire and level of intensity that is rarely seen. He knows the game and is able to communicate to the ball players the proper fundamentals. For more information go to www.capitalcitybaseball.com # # # Track-Out Baseball is for "Tracked-Out" End
