Son of King releases new Highway to Zion video

Aug. 27, 2009 - PRLog -- After years of underground success and international airplay of many of his original
compositions, local talent S.O. King (Son of King) releases his first ever much
anticipated album. This accomplishment marks a great milestone in the career of this
prolific writer. The single and video “Highway to Zion” off the Freedom Riddum
produced by JahLight studio is the third song off the album of the same name scheduled
to release soon is already in heavy rotation on the artist’s MySpace music page and
YouTube.

The song highway to Zion is an original composition which depicts the crossing over to
a new place “Zion” free from man made chaos, strife and war. In the video the artist
journeys through the clouds and pays respect to great revolutionary figures before
becoming enlightened depicted by new garments. The video produced locally highlights
not only the evolution of the video production capabilities of the S.O. King
Entertainment team but is the result of hard work and dedication. Other videos can be

“I’m very excited about this album; it’s been a journey to me and coming to know who I
really am, my experience, me unveiled. Highway to Zion is diary of experiences and
denotes the shared experiences of many urban youths” said King. Highway to Zion the
album also features a few collaborations with some other regional talents just bursting to
be heard.

Hailing from the urban experience of the east, S.O. King 26, is known to his friends as
Sasha O’Neil King has had international success with his song “ghetto prayer” that
became a hit on the London underground music scene. More recently another track ‘I
believe” soon to be released caught the ears of German producers in high praise of his
versatility and style calling it refreshing; a smooth blend of conscious Reggae, R&B, and
Hip Hop and when it all comes together its like lost lyrics to a familiar tune.
S.O. King has been writing as long as he could remember, his delivery of the message
seems to connect in a very real and meaningful way. His voice can be described as gift
from a loving God similar to that of a song bird, smooth, sweet and revitalizing as it not
