WizeHive Builds Out Comprehensive Collaboration Platform

Aug. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- Philadelphia, PA -- WizeHive, a powerful SaaS-based collaboration platform, is releasing a series of upgrades that continues the theme of providing more powerful tools within while extending the reach outside of the application.

New features with this release include a bookmarklet for quickly capturing content while on any web page, an integrated calendar with ical support, a separate link sharing page, and integrated file viewing for uploaded documents.

The bookmarklet, which is compatible with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Opera, lets users quickly send links to web content to WizeHive without ever leaving the web page or opening WizeHive. This means users can send information to WizeHive directly from their email, Twitter account, or any web page where they find interesting content.

The integrated calendar display tasks and events in monthly, weekly and daily views and can be filtered to display calendar entries for everyone in your group or just your own. In addition, users can enable iCalendar support to send tasks and events to popular calendar systems found in Google, Yahoo, and Outlook.

Simplicity and efficiency is always top of mind and was the driving force in the inclusion of the File Viewer update that enables the visual scanning of files without having to open them to discover the contents.
