New Bahamian Author, Shawn T. Gardiner, Releases First Novel.

Gardiner sat down to unlock our reading minds to give us the first invigorating vision of his series novels entitled The Life Star, all his peers and friends alike were at a buzz, and even astonished, given his humble demeanor. Some never even knew he had been writing his stories for years. It was almost unbelievable to some of them until they held the tangible book in their hands, began to read, and marveled. In a genre where there is so much competition, Shawn tells a dramatic tale of a land where it seemed only Emporat Men and Kings were allowed, as every would be Queen had mysteriously vanished or had been murdered. But a gallant Princess Shailey, a true warrior, who fought her way, long and hard to finally be the first Queen of the land after she had killed her sister's fiancé Argarius in a battle for the throne. It was her final hurdle to being crowned Queen. But then she had to relinquish it all because of her calling to a higher destiny as The Vessel of the Light in order to save the planet from destruction. It was a calling she accepted, but she had to surrender her royalty status, her nobility, and all she had accomplished, and swapped her dignified identity for a new one, a person no one knew. None of this was easy for her as she wrestled with all the consequences of killing Argarius which spawned her being at deep odds with her sister Mistovia, and the deceit, mayhem, lies, revealed secrets, murders and wars because of her choice to become the Vessel.
