TM Fleet rolls out Motorsport GPS tracking unit

Aug. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- On August 7th, TM Fleet rolled out its new Motorsport GPS tracking system, the Moto sport 1100 tracking system.  This new GPS tracking system will allow consumers to track any motorsport vehicle via a web-based interface.  The purpose of this system is to assist law enforcement in the quick recovery of stolen motorcycles, personal watercraft, ATV’s, boats and snowmobiles.  


“Our system will allow your customers to locate their vehicles online 24/7 with no additional software.  Accessible from any web enabled computer or cell-phone; owners will be able to instantly pull up the exact address of where their vehicle is located.  They now have the ability to quickly direct law enforcement to the exact location of their stolen asset”, says Hector Fernandez, Vice-President of Sales at TM Fleet.


Nationwide, there has been a notable increase in motosport vehicle theft. TM Fleet hopes this new GPS tracking system will be able to reduce this trend.   This new product line has several key features that make it superior to pre-existing systems.  “We included a supersensitive GPS antenna that for the first time will not require an uninterrupted line-of-sight with GPS satellites.  This gives us the ability to locate a stolen motorcycle or jet-ski inside of a van, building or garage with an average accuracy of 6 ft.  Essentially everywhere a thief can hide a vehicle, our unit will find it.”



Mr Fernandez continues, “Furthermore, our hardware is factory sealed against the elements and all operational environments and will be able to keep up with the active lifestyles of our customers without worrying about their GPS Tracking units becoming damaged from shock, vibration, heat, cold or sea-spray.  A lot of thought went into this unit’s design.”



In the event of a theft, a customer can log on to a secure website, find the exact location and call law enforcement or they can call a toll free 24/7 support line and a support specialist can direct law enforcement to expedite the recovery process.  



Another feature that will set this new product line apart is the coverage area.   According to Mr. Fernandez, “If it is in North America, and our unit can pick up a cell tower signal we will locate it.”  The Moto sport 1100 does not wait to become a victim, instead it is constantly on guard to protect its vehicle from theft.  If the vehicle is moved with the engine off, the unit’s inertial sensor will immediately alert its owner by text message and email of such an event.
