GTR and OTR---Gas Permeation Tester and Oxygen Permeation Tester

Aug. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- GTR, gas transmission rate, is the rate at which a specified gas permeates through a stated area of a specimen under certain time period, pressure and temperature condition. OTR, oxygen transmission rate is the rate at which oxygen transmits through a stated area of a specimen under certain time period. The testing subjects of GTR and OTR are mainly plastic films and sheets, such as plastic films, laminated films, high barrier materials, back sheets, construction thermal insulation and water proof materials, battery diaphragms as well as packaging bottle and pouch containers, etc.
