Aug. 4, 2009 - PRLog -- New Figures launched by The Legal Deed Service have shown that since Christine Hamilton officially changed her name to ‘Mrs British Battleaxe’ after making the first ever informational video on how to change a name by Deed Poll, crazy name change applications to the leading provider have increased two fold.

The self proclaimed ‘British Battleaxe’ changed her name while making a video for online Deed Poll provider, The Legal Deed Service, earlier this year after the firm saw a gap in the market for a comprehensive step by step guide to filling out a Deed Poll application.

Jamie Jackson Chief Executive of the firm who also changed the Big Brother housemates names to ‘Dogface’ and ‘Halfwit’, said, “Christine really has sparked a new craze after the launch of her Deed Poll video and since then we have been busier than ever before.  We still conduct the more serious name changes, but it seems that the British public have got all the more creative with their choice of moniker.”

Mind-boggling name changes of 2008, include ‘Mrs British Battleaxe’, ‘Princess-Rainbow.com’, ‘Gemma Madonna True Blue Strike A Pose Carroll McHale Dawson Me Me Mitchell’, ‘Bruce Willis’ and wait for it..... ‘Who Flung Dung Wasn’t Me Was It You If So I Am Not Very Happy’.
