"Firstly,her finishing with me does not mean there is anything wrong with me !

I felt she could not care less , well for my peace of mind I have to adopt the same attitude and get on with my life.

The more I ask "Why" the more I will suffer ! But by adopting an attitude of "It is her loss" I started to heal quicker.

From my experience and noting the experience of other Grown Apart members, there is a healing process to go through.

What delays the healing process is the asking why? and also seeking some form of re-assurance from the EX in the way of contact.

If my Ex's intention was to hurt me then I should not take the bait ! I acknowledge the pain and move on and go through the healing process,

The Shock
The Anger
The Acceptence.

I think I started ot move on when I truly applied the no contact rule !
The no contact rule is for my sanity ! A Drug addict can not get over drug addiction by going back to their habit,equaly I can not get over a relationship break up by chasing or wanting answers from the dumper !

I empower myself by the no contact rule - The opposite is given her all the power to rule my life !

"How do I move forward?" By acknowledging she WAS part of my World and not MY World !

If my happiness depends on what my Ex doe's or say's, that means I am going to have a miserable exsistence !

Because I think some thing it does not mean it is a fact.
