July 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Diningverse would like to give a high five together with a $55 dining gift certificate to a Diningverse patron who posts the 555th recommendation. Simply go to diningverse.com and leave your recommendation for a restaurant you have visited and liked. The 555 recommendations will be the first and, therefore, the most significant Diningverse milestone yet. The winning patron will select any restaurant listed on diningverse.com and we will send our high five together with a $55 dining gift certificate for this restaurant.

Diningverse is still very young but already is significantly embraced by both patrons and independent restaurant owners in a growing number of local areas. The "High Five for Five Fifty Five" is our first public competition also a way of saying thanks to our fantastic community of registered Diningverse patrons.

"Without the warm embrace by our Diningverse patrons and their support of local, independently owned restaurants through their recommendations, diningverse would be yet another mediocre restaurant directory," said Chris Starr, a business partner at Diverse Ventures, LLC, the parent company of Diningverse. "Diningverse is so much more than just a list of independently owned restaurants. It allows local restaurants to maintain full profiles with menus, specials, photos and more to market the restaurants' food and services on Diningverse and on the Internet," Chris Starr added.

Diningverse decided to reward one of our patrons for taking the time and posting his/her recommendation by giving away a $55 dining gift certificate. Also, this dining certificate will be for one of the restaurants currently listed on diningverse.com, which in turn helps to promote the great food and service of the restaurant.

Last week Diningverse added integration with Facebook which allows Diningverse patrons, who also have a Facebook account, to automatically post their restaurant recommendations on their Facebook Wall. "We hope that the recent addition of Facebook Connect integration on Diningverse will help us accelerate our growth. We have a ton of new useful functionality planned that we will be adding to diningverse.com over time," noted Chris Starr as her final remark.
