Ted Fells, President/CEO of NucoreVision, Inc. Receives Double Honor From the Minority Enterprise Executive Council (MEE Council) as one of the 50 Most Powerful Minority CEOs and Executives in the U.S. and Technology Person of the Year
 
July 20, 2009 - PRLog -- Lanham, Maryland/Washington, D.C. – May 27, 2009 - Ted Fells, President and CEO of 8(a) company, NucoreVision, Inc. has been recognized as Technology Person of the Year and also named to the Minority Enterprise Executive Council list of 50 Most Powerful Minority CEOs and Executives in the United States.  

Fells has accomplished many successes in the areas of information technology development, management and program implementation.  NucoreVision, Inc. is part of a premier team, SBAlliance JV, Inc. recently awarded the Alliant SB GWAC with a $15 billion program ceiling under the General Services Administration (GSA) Small Business Program.  

Under Mr. Fells' leadership, his company – NucoreVision, Inc. has displayed exceptional growth and is recognized by Federal Government customers for their hands on approach in the effective implementation of in-depth technology solutions; and comprehensive approaches to project management.  Mr. Fells' and business partner Vice-President, CFO Ezra Moore also spearheaded the formation of NucoreVision Cares for Community (NVI-CFC), the community service arm of the company which supports healthcare, children's rights, educational and other community initiatives.

Fells and the other top minority business leaders were recognized for their commitment to excellence and the community at the MEE Council "Celebrating Outstanding Leadership and Success" awards gala held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C.  Gloria Parker, CEO and Senior Partner, Parker Group Consulting delivered a thought provoking keynote address.  

A portion of the proceeds from the awards gala will be donated to the non-profit organization, Communities In Schools (www.cisnet.org). Communities In Schools is a long standing, national organization that offers over two million students per year an opportunity to learn in a safe environment; receive marketable skills after graduation; and the ability to give back to their community.
