NTT Com Asia Announces New President & CEO

NTT Com Asia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), announced today that Mr. Masaaki Moribayashi has vacated his positions as President and CEO of both NTT Com Asia and HKNet.
 
July 17, 2009 - PRLog -- NTT Com Asia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), announced today that Mr. Masaaki Moribayashi has vacated his positions as President and CEO of both NTT Com Asia and HKNet to become the Managing Director of NTT Europe Ltd. and concurrently President and CEO of NTT Europe Online. Mr. Takanobu Maeda, formerly Vice President of Global IP Network Sales and Marketing of NTT Com in Japan, has assumed both of Mr. Moribayashi’s former titles effective 1 July.
Beginning in 2006, Mr. Moribayashi led NTT Com Asia to significant growth, including doubling the company’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) business sales under his leadership. Earlier this year, he guided the successful launch of one of the finest data centers in the region – the Tier III+ NTT Com Hong Kong Data Centre.  
As the new President and CEO of both NTT Com Asia and HKNet, Mr. Maeda will continue to foster these companies’ global networks and ICT solutions for the commercial markets in Hong Kong and Greater China. Since joining the NTT Group in 1988, Mr. Maeda has accumulated over 21 years of experience in the global IP and networks industry. While with NTT America, he played a key role in NTT Com’s international business development. He also has managed a number of highly successful projects and implemented systems and organizational structures to help NTT Com achieve its long-range telecommunications objectives. Since 2003, Mr. Maeda also made important contributions to NTT Com’s next-generation global networks.
Mr. Maeda will now leverage his extensive global experience to pilot NTT Com Asia as the best ICT solution partner for enterprises operating in the Greater China region.
