July 13, 2009 - PRLog -- New York, NY-Have you ever asked yourself what your value is? Meaning what do you think you are worth? Do you think you are worth your current salary or more? Do you think that you are a valuable commodity to your community and friends? Those are things you should definitely ask yourself. People really don’t give themselves enough credit. Jeff Stone, an ex-cop and now top earner in the internet industry, truly believes that people are worth way more than they think. First, they have to understand it’s a mindset. Jeff comments:

“People have to know and believe that they are worth a lot more than they portray themselves to be. Do you think you are less valuable than Bill Gates? You may be, but why is the question? You are no different from him; the only difference is how he changed himself to be a leader figure. In order to build value in yourself you have to work on your mindset, you have to educate yourself, and you have to become a leader to others.”

Those are the three main things Jeff Stone did and every other successful person in the world did. So, work on your mindset. Your mindset is the drive of the whole operation. If you want to raise your value, you have to learn how others before you worked on their mindset. Learn from the best. Read the words that they have written for people to read and sink it in. You have to know that you are going to be successful in life. You have to know that your hard work is going to pay off.

Educate yourself. Whatever you are aiming for, educate yourself as much as possible. As you educate yourself you are becoming more valuable to your community and the people around you. The more you learn, the more you will know. You will become a high commodity because people will want to know what you know, and you will be able to share your knowledge with them.

Once you have those things, position yourself as a leader. Act like a leader. Stand out. Leaders do not hide in their homes. They make sure that their presence is known. When your presence is known, and you show confidence people will follow.

“People will always follow leaders. They are depending on you to show them the way. Those are the things that people do to become valuable in the world,” says Jeff.

Are you doing those things? Are you a leader? What do you think your value is?
