Alliance Geotechnical Services and Enigma Data Solutions form Strategic Alliance in Indonesia

July 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Jakarta, Indonesia. Alliance Geotechnical Services (AGS) and Enigma Data Solutions (Enigma) have established a strategic alliance to bring Enigma's Data Archival Solutions to oil and gas companies in Indonesia.

In an effort to address the increased demand for corporate data management and archival services from oil and gas clientele, AGS and Enigma have joined together to bring Enigma's PARS solution to the Indonesian region as the standard for data archival solutions.

PARS (Project Archive and Retrieval System) is a software solution that that automates the archiving and backup of diverse application data from geotechnical, reservoir characterization and office applications. Using PARS, data managers can confidently and efficiently restore multi-disciplinary E&P projects in the event of data loss, system failure or natural disasters. Enigma's software is able to identify and capture the important project data and metadata from mainstream E&P applications such as LandMark, Schlumberger and Paradigm, and numerous tools used for reservoir characterization.

In the agreement, AGS were awarded the distributorship of Enigma's data solutions in the Indonesian region. In addition, AGS have agreed to maintain a training and support facility out of their Jakarta operations in order to better serve the local Indonesian client base.
