July 7, 2009 - PRLog -- The hip hop group the Ashy L Bowz are hard workers in every sense of the phrase. They put thought and effort into not only their recorded music but also their live show.  Which has been called by many as one of the greatest shows in hip hop.  Its no surprise they have been nominated for multiple awards over the years but the Underground Music Awards sponsored were one of the first to look past the un-orthodoxness of their name and recognize their talent.  Which is why they have previously been nominated for three Underground Music Awards with this years nomination bringing the total to four.  

The category of Most Original Group is or Duo is one that the group is very familiar with, having lost it two years in a row.  The Underground Music Awards ceremony is attended by underground rising stars as well as Hip Hop Legends and tastemakers.  The event is always exciting and sold out and the Ashy L Bowz hope they can walk away this year as winners.  Winners are decided by online voting which began on July 6th and ends August 6th. Votes will be tallied and winners will be announced at the ceremony in NYC's BB Kings located in Times Square at date that is TBD.
