Collegiate Real Estate Services Group set to attend NACUBO Annual Meeting

July 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Collegiate Real Estate Services Group’s development and management team will be attending the NACUBO Annual Meeting in Boston, MA June 27th through June 30th. Collegiate Real Estate Services Group’s Founder and President, Rafael Figueroa, will be joining Collegiate’s Vice President of Real Estate Development, Brian Jones, Development Associate, Josh Smith, and Director of Business Development, Christina Aclin. The Collegiate team will discuss unique on-campus housing solutions for universities and colleges across the nation, including semi-suite style unit plans, financing options, faith based student housing, and new residence life and student development programs.

Mr. Figueroa feels that unique solutions are needed for universities and colleges facing budget cuts due to state budget cuts, decreased endowments, and lower than expected enrollment figures. Mr. Figueroa explains that “many institutions need replacement housing or additional housing but are unable to finance these projects due to current economic conditions.” Collegiate has assisted several universities and colleges over the past eighteen months to determine the appropriate financing structure and housing concepts that will provide institutions with projects that meet their current financial needs and student desires.
