Christian Audigier was born in southern France in the city of
Avignon. From his early childhood he was drawn to the rock
and roll lifestyle, wanting to follow in the footsteps of his
rock icons including Mick Jagger. Upon discovering he lacked
the voice and music ability Audigier moved into fashion and
built a resume that awes any designer. Now dressing the rock
stars he aspired to, the world of fashion over the last 20 years
has been heavily influenced by Audigier- the King of Bling.
Audigier is an acknowledged style guru – having contributed
to the success of iconic brands such as Diesel, Fiorucci and Naf Naf before masterminding
the huge global success of Von Dutch. He left Von Dutch in late August 2004 in search of
a story; he found it in Ed Hardy, the godfather of tattoo, and Audigier was instrumental in
overseeing the hugely successful rise of the distinctive Ed Hardy fashion brand, beloved of
celebrities, actors and musicians alike.
The next move for the fashion maverick was to create The Christian Audigier brand. The
line pays tribute to California Culture in a way that no brand has done before. In this new
line Christian has fused the best elements of hot rod and tattoo culture, along with a nod
to his French heritage, the brand is rock and roll with a soul.
His charismatic and colourful approach to fashion has filled a void and has built him
a multi-million dollar business empire, which includes a stable of ‘must have’ designer
brands, including the Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier labels. He has also been invited to
star on America’s Next Top Model and MTV Cribs.
Christian’s inventively wild marketing reached out to celebrities and trendsetters to
make the brand a true fashion commodity. He not only dresses the stars but is personal
friends with many A-list celebrities, including Madonna, Britney and Michael Jackson, who
all attended his star-studded 50th Birthday party in the USA last year.

new product on Wednesday 1st July 2009 at an
