June 23, 2009 - PRLog -- ORLANDO, FL - Orlando-based Wave Software, an innovator in the de-duplication, near-duplicate detection, regeneration and export of native electronic data, today announced the launch of interactive searching to its flagship product, Trident Pro. Interactive searching allows attorneys to make a determination about their search terms and criteria by providing an immediate report on their list of keywords. Interactive searching will show the number of hits for the total search and by keyword. This helps mitigate false positives and erroneous hits, and thus saves attorneys time and money in reviewing discovery data.

With interactive searching, a detailed report will be created to include the terms that were searched and how many times the search terms were found in the data. Once the interactive searching and culling is complete, processed data can be exported to PST, NSF or in its native file format and will allow attorneys to conduct further analysis in common review platforms such as CT Summation, LexisNexis Concordance or iCONECT.

“Wave Software is excited to incorporate this newest technology to our flagship product, Trident Pro,” said Robert Childress, President of Wave Software. “Interactive searching will allow our clients the opportunity to go beyond the use of traditional search indexing which will speed up their review time when trying to locate important documents through keyword searches.”

Trident Pro is the first software in the legal industry that automatically maps and loads processed e-discovery data into common review platforms. Trident integrates seamlessly into the law firm, corporate legal or legal service provider’s current workflow processes, allowing users to review electronic data in a standard review tool and isolate the responsive data that then can be delivered to opposing counsel in their native review format. This gives litigants the ability to meet the discovery requests of native files to its fullest definition, saving a firm time and money previously necessary to convert hundreds of GBs of PSTs or NSFs to TIFF images for review. The industry-fist, built-in Native Review Bridge capability automatically maps fields and loads data from Trident Pro to common review platforms.
