Crowdsource Your Design Projects to Receive Better Results

June 19, 2009 - PRLog -- Creative.gd, a new graphic design marketplace, pushes an outsourcing alternative called “crowdsourcing” as a better answer to expensive design requirements.  The new graphic design portal stresses the importance of crowdsourcing as a new way to get better services at more affordable rates. It works by getting the best ideas from an expert community, a radically different approach from general outsourcing.

Small organizations, businesses or individuals can launch design contests to get proposals from hundreds of designers or ‘creatives’ registered at the new crowdsourcing site. Anyone experienced with design projects (logos, brochures, website designs and others) can register to become a creative member.

Projects are launched through design contests which offer prize money. Registered Creative.gd designers then compete for the prize by submitting concepts which go through a feedback and rating system. A winner will then be chosen to complete the project.

Crowdsourcing became a buzz word in 2006 when Business Week magazine featured it in an issue of ‘Inside Innovation’. Computer giant IBM is said to use the same method to  solicit the best ideas - from its community of customers and employees.
