June 2, 2009 - PRLog -- (May 12, 2009, Denver, CO)- Bryan Tanaka is one of the most sought after dancers in the industry. His commercial image has landed him gigs with Nike, iPod, Pepsi, and more. He has toured the world with renown artists such as Mariah Carey, Destiny's Child, and currently Rihanna. He teaches master classes and workshops worldwide to inspire young dancers with his professionalism, work ethic, and passion for dance. He will made his acting debut on HBO's hit show "Entourage."

In his recent dancer interview, Bryan gave insight into the life of a dancer. Spending his last year touring with Rihanna, he had the honor of being in the "Umbrella" video which was named video of the year. He explains how a dancer isn't allowed the privilege of a schedule when you travel all of the time. You have to go with the flow, you adapt by sleeping and resting when you can. One memorable moment from the Destiny Child tour, he was supposed to put on Beyonce's shoes in Japan. Her legs were crossed so he accidentally put each shoe on the wrong foot, and Beyonce being a professional adapted and danced it out that way.

To Bryan Tanaka, dancing is a business. He hates to look at it that way because it truly is a passion to make music with his body. You have to be professional for an audition to get on a huge world tour. For the Mariah Carey tour you have to have enough reputation to get the private call to even audition at all. There were 25-30 dancers battling for a single spot. He says that there is so much they throw at you to do and you don't get any time at all to learn it. He says the ability to free style has helped immensely and this is a skill you improve through an online dance class.

The online dance community not only needs to take class from everybody and learn all of the styles. You may learn one style but you need to learn everyone's style and make it your own. Bryan always wants more, he wants to do it all which keeps him humble. He encourages aspiring dancers to never be satisfied, work hard and never stop trying to better you trade. Always watch yourself dance, you are one of your own best teachers.
