According to GN Netcom’s Ralph Ede, managing director – South Asia, its customer base for headsets in the Singapore office segment doubled in the period 1Q 2008 to 1Q 2009 led by large MNCs and larger local companies including the banks and insurers. It expects continued high growth for office headsets sales in the next corresponding period as CIOs and CEOs use this downturn to enhance staff productivity and reduce operating costs by embarking on various levels of UC adoption.
