Advocacy Magazine Regarding Sexual Abuse And Assault Is Looking For Celebrity Backing.

May 13, 2009 - PRLog -- TELL is looking for celebrities who are willing to step forward and support by joining our efforts and publicly becoming a supporter of TELL.  

We are one of many voices which encourages and stands up for sexual assault victims. We have a message to spread on a national level, TELL! Our Goal is to decrease the number of sexual assaults, decrease the number of victims who never TELL, and increase the number of assaulters who are brought to justice.

Online statistics show that 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime. Every 2 minutes someone is sexually assaulted. Approximately 73% know their attacker. 60% of victims never TELL, report their abuse to authorities, or share their assault story for reasons of fear, shame, inferiority, and self-pity. Both females and males are victims of rape, molestation, and/or sexual trafficking. TELL is here to stand up and protest that sexual assault is not okay. It is unacceptable and we encourage anyone who is victimized or knows of someone who has been or is being victimized to TELL immediately.
