May 12, 2009 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES –Transcending his role as auctioneer, Jordan Sitter, CEO of Southern California-based fundraising event provider Legacy Benefit Auctions, is donating his time to act as host, master of ceremonies and event manager for the Univision and Huntington Beach Relay for Life fundraiser gala, “The Cancer Fighting Superheroes… at the movies!”  Yanitza Reyna, captain of The Cancer Fighting Superheroes Relay for Life team who lost a brother to cancer last year, turned to Legacy Benefit Auctions (http://www.legacybenefitauctions.com) to provide a successful fundraising event that will benefit the American Cancer Society.  On May 30, 2009, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Univision Headquarters in Los Angeles, the media and public are invited to participate in the fundraising gala and live auction, featuring a special art collection from Simon Bull, a cancer survivor and one of the world’s most compelling artists.

“I am honored to be a part of the fight against cancer,” said Jordan Sitter.  “The driving force behind Legacy Benefit Auctions is being able to help incredible causes like this. When Yanitza approached me with her personal story about losing her brother to cancer, she expressed a desire to raise money for her Relay for Life team and asked if I could help her. In addition to providing over one hundred pieces of fine art and sports memorabilia for the benefit auction, along with a raffle prize donation, I have agreed to act as the event manager, master of ceremonies and auctioneer at no cost to the organization to ensure the success of this fundraiser gala. I also connected with Simon Bull, who I know from years of being in the art industry, and he will be providing a large collection as well for this event in support of cancer research and prevention.”

Admission to the benefit auction is free, but donations and proceeds from the live auction and raffle tickets will benefit the American Cancer Society by way of the Huntington Beach Relay for Life team.  Auction items include fine art and sports memorabilia provided by Legacy Benefit Auctions and vintage style dresses like those from the 1940’s – 50’s provided by Lolita Girl Clothing. To attend the event, email Yanitza Reyna at yanitzareyma@yahoo.com.
