To showcase the Sub-Acute Care Unit as well as the hospital, we are hosting an open house for the community to take tours and see the features and services we offer from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 14. The hospital is located at 2250 East Flamingo Road.
“Patients in our Sub-Acute Care Unit receive comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation therapy that acts as a bridge, transitioning them from hospital care back to the home, in conjunction with high-intensity medical services that have made Kindred hospitals a national leader in long-term acute care,” said Jennifer Schomburg, Chief Executive Officer of Kindred Hospital Las Vegas Flamingo. “We are proud of our recovery rates – 42% of our patients return home after an average stay of 41 days. The new Sub-Acute Care Unit is an integral part of the continuum of healthcare services offered by Kindred in Las Vegas at three long-term acute care hospitals and two nursing and rehabilitation centers.”
Our patients typically have serious medical conditions, often many at the same time, requiring a coordinated, specialized approach, directed by physicians, to meet their daily medical needs.
