Cairo Marriott Hotel Graduates The First Group Of “youth Career Initiative” Participants

May 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Cairo –April, 2009, The Cairo Marriott Hotel celebrated the graduation of five young people who took part in the pilot of the Youth Career Initiative (YCI) in Egypt, an educational program that started in November 2008.
The Youth Career Initiative is a scheme of the International Business Leaders Forum; an organization founded by the Prince of Wales and was chosen by Marriott International as a global initiative for its hotels worldwide. YCI engages international hotels to provide a 24-weeks education program for high school graduates from disadvantaged backgrounds and limited opportunities to find employment or pursue further education. The program provides young people with life and work skills in order to enable them to become employable and make career.
Ulrich Huth, General Manager of the Cairo Marriott Hotel presented the graduation certificates to the successful participants who were trained at the hotel, saying in the graduation ceremony’s speech “It gives me great pleasure that Cairo Marriott Hotel is the pioneer among Marriott hotels in Egypt to launch YCI.  In YCI, programs are tailored to suit the country and the needs of its youth. Through YCI, young people can enhance their potentials, gain self-esteem and develop the ability to make informed decisions.

فندق ماريوت القاهرة يحتفل بأول مجموعه من خريجى برنامج "مبادرة الحياه المهنيه للشباب"  YCI
القاهرة– أبريل 2009– احتفل فندق ماريوت القاهره بتخريج أول دفعه مكونه من خمسه من الشباب اللذين شاركوا فى البرنامج التعليمى "مبادرة الحياه المهنيه للشباب"  YCI والذى بدأ فى نوفمبر 2008. برنامج "مبادرة الحياه المهنيه للشباب" هو برنامج تابع للمنتدى الدولى لقادة الأعمال، وهى منظمة أسسها أمير ويلز وقد أختارتها شركة ماريوت العالميه كمبادره يتم تطبيقها فى فنادقها على المستوى العالمى.
يتضمن البرنامج 24 أسبوعاً يتم خلالها إعطاء الطلبه المشاركين كل المعلومات التى تكسبهم المهارات المطلوبه فى مجال العمل.
وقد سلم أورليش هوت مدير عام فندق ماريوت القاهره شهادات التخرج للطلبه الخريجين الذين تم تدريبهم فى فندق ماريوت القاهره ، وعلق قائلاً  "أنه لمن دواعى سرورى ان فندق ماريوت القاهره هو الرائد بين فنادق ماريوت مصر فى تطبيق برنامج،  ومن الجدير بالذكر ان هذا البرنامج مصمم خصيصاً ليلائم إحتياجات الشباب ويعزز إمكانياتهم فى مجال العمل لتنمية القدره على إتخاذ القرارات الواعيه".
