May 4, 2009 - PRLog -- Osborn, already a best-selling author with the debut of The Y Factor, co-authored with Darrell Bain, is pleased to note that her novel, Burnout: The mystery of Space Shuttle STS-281, is also moving steadily up the best-seller charts.

It now stands at number 24 out of nearly 5000 books on Fictionwise's science fiction list.

Burnout is an SF mystery about a Shuttle disaster that’s no accident. It has two heroes, “Crash” Murphy of the USA & Dr. Mike Anders of Australia. Murphy, an ex-Flight Director, is tapped by his government to investigate the disaster, and Anders by HIS government to study some odd signals from space.

It’s soon apparent that whatever happened to Atlantis was deliberate, and Murphy starts nosing further into the matter. When people around him start dying in “accidents,” he flees, taking what evidence he can, and looks for Anders.

Meanwhile, Anders has gotten suspicious about those signals. Their investigations dovetail, and the two men work together to unravel what happened to Atlantis, running for their lives while wondering who they can and can’t trust.
