Unpublished Guy Announces Fiction Writing and Publishing Web Site

Where Writers Go to Procrastinate. Parodies, nonsense, and other fiction related silliness for writers that procrastinate.

May 4, 2009 - PRLog -- Land of Nod — Today, Unpublished Guy announced that the Unpublished Guy site (http://www.unpublishedguy.com) had been live for a few months, now.  The site offers parodies, nonsense, and other fiction related silliness for writers that procrastinate. It currently includes a short parody of Italo Calvino’s fiction novel, If on a winter’s night a traveler,” and a description of an innovative—if not quite serious—fiction writing method, the mashed potato method of writing fiction. There is also some other crap on the site, which writers might find entertaining while engaged in the active avoidance of writing.

“Whether you are a casual or serious writer, this site will meet your procrastination needs and ease you into the writing mindset,” said Unpublished Guy.

In the future the site is expected to add collaborative online writing and its own spin on the ubiquitous café press store, selling William Blake and Jabberwocky T-shirts.

Site Traffic Skyrocketing and Favorable Feedback on Fiction Site
Unpublished Guy also announced that in the past two months, site traffic had increased 70%, skyrocketing from 90 to 153 visitors. Site traffic is expected to soon number in the hundreds.

Feedback from the site has so far been positive, including this email sent to Unpublished Guy:

“Dear Unpublished Guy, I see no pictures of you posted, but I am certain you are sexy. This site rocks and I wish you would post more so I can soak in more of your intoxicating humor. By the by, if you are available, i can comfort you in all sorts of ways that might be better unpublished.”

To which Unpublished Guy responded, “Just a moment dear, I’ll be upstairs in a moment.”
