CXO-Cockpit for Oracle |Hyperion Essbase and Planning is launched at Oracle Collaborate 2009

April 24, 2009 - PRLog -- CXO Solutions unveils at Oracle Collaborate in Orlando that the CXO-Cockpit is available on Oracle | Hyperion Essbase and Planning as of version 3.3. This version will make it possible to deliver our well known pre-built executive dashboards on top of any Essbase application. “We already deliver our revolutionizing executive dashboard on top of Oracle’s world-class consolidation platforms Hyperion Enterprise (HE) and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)” says Marcel Vlug CEO of CXO Solutions, “but being able to deliver the CXO-Cockpit on top of the award winning and internationally acclaimed Essbase and Planning platform is a major milestone for us”, continuous Marcel Vlug.

For hardcore information users, like Controllers, we recognize that the Microsoft Excel add-in for Essbase is very powerful.

However, with the CXO-Cockpit we focus on delivering information to a different audience within organizations, namely executives, group controllers and directors who prefer a web-based dashboard instead of Excel. The first HFM version of the CXO-Cockpit was released in 2006 and was built with the single objective to offer executives exactly that: a web-based dashboard. “With the Essbase and Planning version of the CXO-Cockpit being available we keep very close to our core Dashboard competence”, says Wouter Born, “in fact our dashboard does not change at all, we just created an additional link to the Essbase and Planning platform.
