New Patient Safety Association Adopts By-Laws

April 11, 2009 - PRLog -- The American Society of Medication Safety Officers (ASMSO) is a new member association dedicated to the advancement of medication use safety through support of medication safety officers and leaders in medication management.  The organizing board recently ratified the association by-laws during the March 2009 board meeting.  Under the by-laws, ASMSO will serve as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with an elected board of directors.  Members of the board of directors will be nominated from the general assembly of the association.

The mission of ASMSO is to advance and encourage excellence in safe medication use by providing communication, leadership, direction, and education among its members.
