You May Only Need A One Page Website

April 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Pendergrass, GA -- Murphy Consulting, Inc. (MURCON) recently developed a one page website for Color Burst in Grayson, GA.  A one page website would not seem too remarkable in and of itself, but Backyard-Veggies.com is an excellent example of using the Internet to diversify products and services and promote a single product or idea.  Last year Color Burst – a seasonal flower display company (Color-Burst.com) -- had the idea of offering to plant and maintain small vegetable gardens for people who wanted a vegetable garden but did not have the time or expertise to do it right.  The idea was well received!
This year Color Burst decided to promote the idea more heavily through a variety of mediums including the Internet.  A one page website at Backyard-Veggies.com was the result.  The website was like an online flier to begin with.  It was referenced in other print media and through email.  Website visitors could get the information they needed from the website then contact Color Burst to get the garden planted.  Visitors could also sign up on the Backyard Veggies permission based email list to receive more information as released.
After the website was launched in late March Color Burst got feedback from website visitors.  They wanted more information and services.  Color Burst then had MURCON add additional pages to the website for additional gardening options and reliable vegetables for your Georgia vegetable garden.
Have a new product to promote?  You can add it to your current website or create a “one pager” just for that product or promotion.  It can remain stand alone or later be incorporated into a main website if need be for maximum effectiveness.
