The International Criminal Court will start investigations over Israeli crimes committed against Gaza
 
April 10, 2009 - PRLog -- The president of HOKOK, the International Coalition against Impunity, the lawyer May El-Khansa declared, on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, after meeting Mrs. Béatrice Du Hellen Le Fraper, the director of the International Criminal Court at The Hague, at 3:00 PM, that the ICC will start investigations over Israeli crimes committed against Gaza in the complaint registered under the reference number OTP-CR-4425/08, conforming to the Article 12, /paragraph 3/ of the Rome Statute.
   Mrs. Béatrice praised the efforts made by HOKOK organization, the International Coalition against Impunity, for the complaints they filed over Israeli crimes in Gaza and Lebanon, declaring that these are the only complaints which have been approved by the Court either for the facts, evidences, and documents, or the legal study. A new meeting will be held between the organization and the court’s officials early next month.    
   Concerning the 2006 war on Lebanon complaint, registered under the reference number OTP-CR-549/09, the director of the ICC stated that this complaint is still under review.
