Small-Business Experts Launch Weekly Radio Show For Entrepreneurs

March 31, 2009 - PRLog -- Irvine, Calif. – Aspiring and existing entrepreneurs should visit wsRadio (http://www.wsradio.com) April 22 at 11:00 a.m. PST to listen to a new, weekly radio show that will help them start and grow their own businesses.

Hosted by small-business experts Rieva Lesonsky and Angie A. Swartz, the hour-long show will feature a mix of advice, interviews with guest experts, and myth-busting explorations of the truth about various small-business topics. The two co-hosts pull no punches, giving straightforward business advice and useful insights.

The first show will feature guest Holly G. Green, CEO of The Human Factor, which educates executives on being effective leaders and managers. Green will discuss making the transition from corporate employee to entrepreneur—something that both Lesonsky and Swartz know a lot about.

Lesonsky made the leap to entrepreneurship last year, launching content and consulting firm GrowBiz Media after more than 25 years as Editorial Director of Entrepreneur Magazine. In that role, her advice and inspiration helped millions of Americans start their own businesses.

“In these challenging economic times, entrepreneurs are struggling,” says Lesonsky. “I’m excited to be able to directly help business owners deal with the problems they are facing.”

Swartz, who describes herself as “a recovering corporate executive,” worked at Fortune 500 companies including Qualcomm, Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouse before launching social media consultancy Square Martini Media. Her forthcoming book, Quitting Is Everything! Your Guide to Jumping Off the Corporate Ladder, helps other aspiring entrepreneurs make the move to entrepreneurship.
