Through its outreach programs, the Writers Guild Foundation strives to educate and inspire writers as well as to promote and preserve excellence in writing. According to Adam Huss, the Foundation’s director of Outreach Programming, “The Writers Guild Foundation is delighted to have the support of Write Brothers Inc. for our summer 2009 film and television craft workshops and the ‘Writers On Genre’ series. Write Brothers Inc., like the Writers Guild Foundation, is committed to serving the worldwide writing community, and we appreciate their help in furthering our mission to educate and inspire writers.”

As the world leader in developing software for screenwriting, film and television production, and creative story development, Write Brothers, Inc. shares the Foundation’s commitment to excellence.

“Making a difference to generations of writers—past, present, and future—is a mission we are proud to share with the WGF,” said Stephen Greenfield, president of Write Brothers, Inc. “A movie is only as strong as the foundation it is built on: the screenplay. Since 1983, the vast majority of produced screenplays built their foundations on the strength of software we personally produced. For nearly three decades Scriptor, Movie Magic Screenwriter, and Dramatica have assisted writers on the perilous journey from computer screen to silver (and television) screen.”

“As supporters of the Writers Guild of America since the early 1980s, it seems a natural fit for us to support the Writers Guild Foundation and its programming,” said Chris Huntley, vice president of Write Brothers. “These events are top-notch, presented by professional writers and creators, and benefit the entire writing community.”
